Anna duSaire

Anna duSaire is a self taught filmmaker and creative producer from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her first project, “STUDENTS,” a short documentary, served as a launching pad into film. After graduating and returning home to Minneapolis, duSaire began to explore the local film scene and connect with organizations such as Public Functionary, an art centered organization focused on highlighting and uplifting local black and brown artists. duSaire has since expanded her reach in the film community and worked on a variety of projects ranging from event videography, to directing music videos, shooting live sports, and working on feature film sets.

Some notable projects include: capturing and editing footage of ancillary events at the U.S. Gymnastics Olympic Trials and Big Ten Basketball Tournaments, working as the creative producer for videography for The Cherry Pit (a music collective), camera operating at the 2023 AUDL Championship weekend, and serving as the Director of Photography on “Honey Buns and Black and Milds,” a short film based in East St. Paul.

Her vision is to continue to explore new and old methods of film and find ways to elevate those around her through her work. Aiming to capture the beauty in community, relationships, and everyday life, her work is inspired by the people around her and the passion other artists bring to their art.
